All applications must be made through the School of Computer Science admissions process. All application deadlines will appear on the application Webster.
Please note: In your statement of purpose, please identify the Societal Computing faculty member or members you think you might be most interested in working with. More information on the Societal Computing faculty and their research can be found on our Faculty page.
The Societal Computing PhD program is committed to attracting students from a wide range of different backgrounds and waives all application fees. When applying for the Societal Computing Ph.D. program the waiver will automatically be given. If you choose to apply to a different program and the fee presents a financial hardship to you, you may apply for a financial or participants of program fee waiver which will be available within the application.
Admissions are made once a year in February.
